The Supra-Democracy Foundation’s

(suggested) UN Security Council Resolution

For Achieving UNO’s Long-Outstanding (1945) Aim

“To Save Succeeding Generations From The Scourge of War”

Through UNESCO

The Security Council

Remembering that an act of terrorism triggered the reactions of the First World War; that this lead to the invasions of the Second; that this ended after the explosion of three primitive atomic bombs; and that the United Nations Organisation (UNO) was established in 1945 with the specific aim “To Save Succeeding Generations From The Scourge of War”

Recognising that UNO’s aim has not been achieved and that multi-targeted nuclear missiles now wait the world over that could wipe out the whole human race in a Third World War and Global Holocaust ignited by the reactions to any act of terrorism, belligerence or invasion

Recalling its Responsibility under the UN Charter to endeavour to achieve UNO’s aim and Reaffirming its Decision and Determination  as per Resolution 1373 to take all necessary steps to prevent terrorism and as per Resolution 1701 to prevent further conflict in the Middle East and, in particular, to prevent the potential Third Global Conflict and Nuclear Holocaust, which because it only waits to be triggered by reactions can now be seen as The Dire Peril

Remembering that the (1945) Constitution of The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) declares “Since wars begin in the minds of men it is in the minds of men that the defences of peace must be constructed”

Remembering also the (1993) UNESCO-Sponsored Montreal International Congress on Education following the end of the Cold War and its World Plan of Action calling in urgency and alarm for universal education for universal conduct to be changed and society transformed into a peaceful model

Recognising that The Dire Peril has been progressively inherited in childhood and perpetuated in adulthood and that in their present form the Council’s Resolutions cannot therefore prevent terrorism, Middle East conflict and The Dire Peril because they do not encompass the global educational dimension

Recognising also that despite the 2008 Washington G20 Global Financial Summit the world’s economy remains devoid of a stabilising ethic and that history proves that ethic-less, unstable economies lead to war
