“To Save Succeeding Generations From The Scourge of War”

The Security Council
Remembering that an act of terrorism triggered the reactions of the First World War; that this lead to the invasions of the Second; that this ended after the explosion of three primitive atomic bombs; and that the United Nations Organisation (UNO) was established in 1945 with the specific aim “To Save Succeeding Generations From The Scourge of War”
Recognising that UNO’s aim has not been achieved and that multi-
Recalling its Responsibility under the UN Charter to endeavour to achieve UNO’s aim and Reaffirming its Decision and Determination as per Resolution 1373 to take all necessary steps to prevent terrorism and as per Resolution 1701 to prevent further conflict in the Middle East and, in particular, to prevent the potential Third Global Conflict and Nuclear Holocaust, which because it only waits to be triggered by reactions can now be seen as The Dire Peril
Remembering that the (1945) Constitution of The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) declares “Since wars begin in the minds of men it is in the minds of men that the defences of peace must be constructed”
Remembering also the (1993) UNESCO-
Recognising that The Dire Peril has been progressively inherited in childhood and perpetuated in adulthood and that in their present form the Council’s Resolutions cannot therefore prevent terrorism, Middle East conflict and The Dire Peril because they do not encompass the global educational dimension
Recognising also that despite the 2008 Washington G20 Global Financial Summit the
world’s economy remains devoid of a stabilising ethic and that history proves that
